Part of A Year in Colour Stories, a continuing body of work exploring colour, atmosphere and the subtle shifts of the seasons through thoughtful palettes and abstract paintings.
Created for October’s colour story, “Soft Edges”, Spheres explores the presence of forms within an open field. Floating, gathering and existing alongside one another, the individual gestures create a sense of movement and connection. Subtle contrasts in colour, texture and transparency give the composition depth while leaving space for the eye to wander.
Balancing presence and openness, Spheres invites a closer look at the relationships that emerge between colour, form and space.
